§ Mr. MacleanHome Office Ministers and officials have frequent contacts with the police and the private security industry in which the question of regulation can arise. Last year we published a Green Paper on the arrangements for criminal record checks on people seeking employment in sensitive areas. We intend to publish a white paper setting out the results of our review in the new year.
