§ Mr. DorrellOwnership concentrations within the broadcasting sector must conform to the limits prescribed by the Broadcasting Act 1990. Information about the ownership of broadcasters is collected by the Independent Television Commission in accordance with its responsibilities outlined in chapter 1 of part 1 of the Act. My Department does not itself regularly collect ownership information about the newspaper industry.
