To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many patients were admitted to hospital with kidney stones in each year of the last five years.

[holding answer 27 October 1994]: Numbers of in-patient and day case admissions to hospital where the principle diagnosis was calculus of kidney and ureter (ICD9 592) for calendar years 1989–1993 are shown in the table.
