§ Mr. Nicholas BakerElectoral registration officers have a statutory duty to include in the electoral register the names of all people who appear to them to be eligible. If the rights of electors have been denied, remedies are available through the courts. My right hon. and learned Friend therefore has no plans to introduce a charter covering electoral registration.
