HL Deb 02 November 1994 vol 558 c63WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Prime Minister was correctly reported to have endorsed the attack on Baghdad by United States armed forces in 1993 in response to the alleged unsuccessful attack on ex-President Bush in Kuwait, opining that "state terrorism must be met with an unambiguous response and must be deterred by all proper and legitimate means", and whether there is any current intention of describing any particular governments as involved in, or responsible for, "state terrorism".

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

I refer the noble Lord to the answer I gave him on 7th July 1993 at columnWA67. It is not our practice to list states as sponsors of international terrorism.
