To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what consideration his Department has given to the report by Vice-President Gore on governmental involvement in the development of super-highways; and if he will make a statement.

The Government are aware of Vice-President Gore's views, and aim to help the United Kingdom industries to be well placed to take advantage of the new technologies.
