§ Mr. David DavisThe European Commission's Eleventh Annual Report on Monitoring the Application of Community Law (1993) document reference 6697/94, COM (94) 500 Final, records that the UK had by 31 December 1993 notified the Commission of implementing measures in respect of 1,060 directives out of a total of 1,148 directives applicable on that date. This record was bettered only by the Netherlands and Denmark. The Commission report is available in the Library.
