§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the President of the Board of Trade what information he has regarding the current negotiations between the European Commission and the United States Government in regard to the extension and revision of the United States—Euratom nuclear cooperation agreement.
§ Mr. NeedhamNegotiations are continuing on a new nuclear co-operation agreement to replace the existing agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community and the United States. The European Commission is responsible for the conduct of the negotiations. I am advised that the next negotiating meeting is scheduled to take place in June.
