§ Mr. HanleyOfficials of my Department have occasionally discussed with the appropriate United States authorities the disposal of hazardous wastes imported into the United Kingdom. The handling of such waste in the United Kingdom is carried out in accordance with national and international regulations governing the movement and destruction of hazardous waste.
