HC Deb 26 May 1994 vol 244 cc326-7W
Mr. Cousins

To ask the Attorney-General whether Treasury solicitors have offered advice in the Government's actions over the DeLorean company.

The Attorney-General

The Treasury Solicitors department has, since 1985, advised on the proceedings which have been brought by the Department of Economic Development in Northern Ireland in connection with the accounts of the DeLorean company. Currently, the Treasury Solicitors department is liaising with the lawyers responsible for the litigation in the United States of America and is advising Government Departments in connection therewith.
