To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the level of co-operation between United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland security forces.

Excellent co-operation between the Royal Ulster Constabulary and the Garda is achieving vital successes against the terrorists. The two Governments support them by continuing to review and refine security co-operation measures in response to the threat from terrorism.
