Member for Bradford, West, dated 26 April, which he placed in the Library, whether British Caledonian has paid 17W the claim submitted by his Department on 20 February in respect of the costs of detaining and escorting passengers who were refused leave to enter the United Kingdom after arriving on 15 December on BA 1262 (KT 310); whether Leisure International Airways has now paid claims submitted by his Department on 7 March in respect of detention and escorting passengers and submitted on 18 April in respect of detention and escorting passengers who were refused leave to enter the United Kingdom after arriving on 21 December on flight ULE 966; what action is being taken to recover these moneys; and if he will make a statement.
