To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what was the total value of funds attracted to the former business expansion scheme in each year for construction-related investments; and if he will list by category how many buildings were constructed or are still under construction;

(2) how many dwellings were built in each year or are still being built, as a result of the business expansion scheme, for the provision of housing in the privately rented market.

Available information is in the table. This relates to BES investments in companies in the construction industry and the numbers of new lettings from investments in private renting companies.
