§ Mr. Lennox-BoydFigures for official development assistance are not yet available for 1993. In 1992, the United Kingdom gave 55.5 per cent. of its total official development assistance to sub-Saharan Africa. This represented a 4.8 per cent. increase over the 1991 figure, with bilateral assistance decreasing by 6 per cent. and multilateral assistance increasing by 13 per cent.
