§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will include the Dumbarton district council area within the new Strathclyde passenger transport authority:
(2) if he will make it his policy that when the boundaries of the new Strathclyde passenger transport authority are set, that there are no new council areas that are partly inside and partly outside the boundaries of the passenger transport authority.
§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe future boundaries of the Strathclyde passenger transport area will be decided in due course after consultation with appropriate bodies. No decision will be taken on the extent of the boundaries until after consultations have taken place.
