§ Mr. SackvilleDisabled facilities grants are already available to disabled people under 18 years of age, under the Children Act 1989. These grants are one of a series of house renovation grants arising from the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, which was amended by the Children Act (Consequential Amendment of Enactments) Order 1991, so that children with disabilities are also eligible.
