§ Mr. SackvillePractitioners are required to register annually with the General Medical Council, which will also keep a record on a specialist list of any certificate issued in compliance with EC directive 94/16/EEC (Specialist Medical Training).
As the United Kingdom competent authority for registration of medical practitioners, the General Medical Council is also responsible for the recording of details of specialist certification from members of the EC who enter this country to practise.
