§ Mr. JackI understand from the Registrar General of Shipping and Seamen that at the end of 1993 there were about 100 fishing vessels registered in the United Kingdom 291W which are either wholly or largely owned by nationals of another Member State. There are more than 11,000 fishing vessels on the United Kingdom register. RSS does not hold figures for United Kingdom-owned vessels registered abroad.
