To ask the Secretary of State for Health what evidence she has of the extent of the link between poverty and ill health.

§ Mr. Sackville
A wide range of factors—including genetic predisposition, environment, exposure to risk, lifestyles—are associated with the incidence of ill health. Some, but not all, of these are linked with income levels. The Department keeps in touch with research developments in this field.
