To ask the President of the Board of Trade what are the average non-wage employment costs for manufacturers in Britain, France and Germany.

§ Mr. Heseltine
In 1992 non-wage costs as proportion of total labour costs were 29 per cent. in France, 23 per cent. in Germany and 17 per cent. in the United Kingdom.
