§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to assist Somalis with refugee status or with permission for an extended stay in the United Kingdom who wish to return to help in the redevelopment of their country without losing the right to return if the situation in Somalia deteriorates.
§ Mr. Charles WardleAny refugee or person with exceptional leave to remain in the United Kingdom is free to seek to re-establish themselves in their country of origin, but this must raise the question whether they continue to have a well-founded fear of persecution or a humanitarian case for exceptional leave.
