To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list the Acts of Parliament and Consolidation Acts that affect local government which have been introduced by her Department since 1990.

Mr. Bowis

Since 1990, the Department introduced the following Acts of Parliament that affected Local Government:

• —the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990.
• —the Community Care (Residential Accommodation) Act 1992.
