§ Miss WiddecombeOn 10 March the number of young people covered by the youth training guarantee who had been waiting for eight or more weeks for a YT place was746W 138. This was a fall of 97 per cent. from March 1993 when the total was 5,424. This is excellent progress and a tribute to the efforts of training and enterprise councils, careers services and all others involved in placing young people into training. The following table gives information for each TEC:
