To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what representations he has received about the appointment of Mr. Joe Palmer as chairman of the Personal Investment Authority.

§ Mr. Nelson
A number of representations have been received. However, the appointment of the chairman of the Personal Investment Authority is a matter for the board of the authority.
