§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is his assessment of the present military position between North and South Korea.
§ Mr. GoodladThere is a high concentration of military forces on the border. There has been a steady shift of North Korean forces over the last decade which has led to the present deployment of 750,000–1 million troops near the border. This is a cause for anxiety, and increases the need for North and South Korea to pursue the dialogue between them.
