To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what financial contribution the Glasgow Development Agency is making to the proposed Fast End leisure centre in Shettleston constituency; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 28 March 1994]: It is for the local enterprise company to decide what, if any, contribution it wishes to make towards a particular project. I understand Glasgow Development Agency has, at present, no plans to make any financial contribution towards the East End leisure centre.
