HC Deb 28 March 1994 vol 240 c506W
Mr. Corbett

To ask the Chairman of the Information Committee if he will make arrangements for television monitors to be placed in offices in the Norman Shaw South parliamentary building used by hon. Members' secretaries and research staff.

Mr. Waller

The location of television monitors is a matter which it would be appropriate for the House to consider in the context of the information Committee's report on the provision of a parliamentary data and video network.

Mr. Corbett

To ask the Chairman of the Information Committee if he will make arrangements for access to television and radio channels to be made available to hon. Members with offices in the Norman Shaw South parliamentary building.

Mr. Waller

Proposals for access to television and radio channels are included in the Information Committee's report on the provision of a parliamentary data and video network, which recommends the extension of the pilot network to further buildings on the parliamentary estate. The report has not yet been considered by the House.
