§ Mrs. Bridget Prentice
To ask the Secretary of State for Health what has been the expenditure on the London ambulance service for each of the past five years; what is the budget for the current year and for the next financial year; what representations have been made to him by the London ambulance service about the adequacy of such expenditure; and if she will make a statement.

§ Mr. Sackville
The Government are committed to providing sufficient revenue and capital to the London ambulance service to ensure an improving ambulance service in the capital.
