§ Mr. MackinlayTo ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if he will extend legal aid to those wishing to present appeals to(a) the employment appeals tribunal and (b) employment tribunals.
Mr. John M. TaylorCivil legal aid is already available, subject to the normal means and merits tests, for those appearing before the employment appeals tribunal. There are no plans to extend civil legal aid to industrial tribunals. However, legal advice and assistance under the green form scheme is available to those who are financially eligible.
