To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list details of all current licences issued to kill wild bird species, including the premises and the wild bird species concerned.

Licences to kill protected bird species are normally only valid for a specific, limited period. No such licences are currently in force in Wales. As regards pest bird species, five general licences are currently in force which authorise pest control contractors to kill or take house sparrows or feral pigeons on a county basis.
