To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will ask the Sunderland health authority to make available the Ceri Davis site and services review; and if she will make a statement.

Mr. Sackville

The work undertaken in Sunderland by the independent team led by Ceri Davis was at the invitation of the Sunderland city hospitals unit. It is therefore for that authority to decide whether and to whom to make the report available. The district health authority will consult widely on any substantial proposed changes in service.
