§ Mr. BoswellNine employees of the Higher Education Funding Council for England have previously worked in higher education institutions either as academic or administrative staff. This is about 5 per cent. of the total staff. A further 10 have worked in organisation closely linked with higher education. These figures exclude council members and contract and specialist quality assessors.
