§ Sir Hector MonroUnder the arable area payments scheme—AAPS—Scottish farmers have received the following aid to date in respect of their 1993 AAPS claims:(a) £15.47 million in set-aside payments; and (b) £79.09 million in total arable aid. A further £11.5 million in respect of the final oilseeds payment is being issued this week. No Scottish farmer has received more than £1 million of arable aid.
