To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans the Government have to review the operation of aid and trade provision.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The Government have recently reviewed the aid and trade provision. I refer the hon. Member to the statement I made to my hon. Friend the Member for Croydon, South (Mr. Ottaway) on 17 June 1993,Official Report, column 679 which announced the conclusions of that wide-ranging review. The Government have no plans to conduct a further review.
