§ Dr. MawhinneyIn the 1985–86 and 1989–90 surveys of general practitioners' workload, the reported average weekly time spent on practice administration associated with the provision of general medical services was 1.78 hours and 2.48 hours respectively. A further such survey ran for a year from November 1992; interim results, based on the first seven months' data, give a reported average of 3.53 hours a week.
