To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will ask the Mental Health Act Commission to monitor arrangements made for the aftercare of patients covered by section 117 of the Mental Health Act 1983, as recommended in the Ritchie report.

We will consider this in consultation with the Mental Health Act Commission.
