§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans she has to bring within the regulations governing inspection of nursing and residential homes with three or fewer residents(a) in all cases or (b) in all cases where the funding of a resident is from public funds.
§ Mr. BowisHealth authorities are required to inspect all nursing homes, whatever their size, at least twice a year. Since April 1993 local authorities have had powers to inspect independent residential care homes for three or fewer residents.
