To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage when he expects to announce the names of the members of the Millennium Commission.

Mr. Brooke

The names of the members of the Millennium Commission were announced by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 17 February. I shall have the honour of being chairman of the commission. The other members are:

  • My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade
  • Professor Heather Couper, FRAS
  • The Earl of Dalkeith
  • The hon. Robin V. Dixon, CBE
  • Sir John Hall
  • Mr. Simon Jenkins
  • Mr. Michael Montague CBE
  • Ms Patricia Scotland QC
