What was the population of each local prison on 1st March 1994; what was their certified normal allowance; and what was the percentage of the overcrowding.

Lord Ferrers has asked me to reply to your recent Question about the population and accommodation of local prisons.

The attached table shows the certified normal accommodation (CNA), population, and population as a percentage of CNA (that is, overcrowding) of each of the local prisons on 1st March 1994.
