To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the current rules governing the distribution of surplus EU foodstuffs.

The rules governing the operation of the EC surplus food scheme 1993–94 in the United Kingdom are set out in leaflets LP45 and LP46. Copies have been placed in the Library of the House.
