§ Mr. HanleyThe ministerial steering group directing the Government's official 50th anniversary of D-day commemorative events is chaired by my noble Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defence. The deputy chairman is my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for National Heritage. At present, the group meets every two weeks; as its deliberations are often informal they are not published.
