To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what is the estimated cost of the A11 Wymondham bypass.

Mr. Key

The tender figure for the All Besthope to Wymondham improvement contract is £16,506,805. The cost of the whole scheme including land etcetera VAT and ancillary works, is likely to be in the order of £26 million at today's prices.
