To ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the purpose and outcome of his visit to Indonesia in December 1993.

My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade did not visit Indonesia in December 1993.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade what discussions he has had with his Portuguese counterpart over EC and United Kingdom trade with Indonesia.

§ Mr. Needham
Neither I nor my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade have held such discussions, although when I visited Portugal recently I stressed the importance of increasing trade with far eastern markets generally.
