§ Mr. SackvillePrimary legislation was enacted in 1992—the Medicinal Products: Prescription by Nurses etc. Act 1992. Work is currently in hand to introduce the necessary subordinate legislation which should enable nurse prescribing to commence in demonstration sites from October 1994.
