§ Dr. MawhinneyYes. The survey of attitudes towards issues of probity among national health service chairmen and board members was commissioned by the NHS Management Executive's corporate governance task force who expressed the view in their report
the attitudes of respondents to the survey, for the most part, supported a strict application of traditional rules of behaviour.I welcome that finding which is the foundation for the NHS code of conduct issued for comment on 13 January 1994.
