§ Mr. AtkinsFunding for schemes sponsored by the Energy Saving Trust comes from a variety of sources. The Director General of Gas Supply has recently questioned longer-term reliance on the E factor mechanism as one of those sources. Officials from my Department and the Department of Trade and Industry are currently reviewing the position with the Office of Gas Supply.
