Mr. Ron Davies

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what was the total income received by each district council from the sales of council houses in each of the last 10 years expressed in current prices.

The information is given in the following table:

1 Includes the repayment of principal on local authority mortgages on council houses.

Sources: Capital payments return up to 1988–89, cash backed accumulated receipts returns for subsequent years.
