To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will update figure K3, tax revenues from the main local taxes as percentages of total tax revenues of local governments, selected countries, of Cmnd 9714—"Paying for Local Government".

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will list the total amount of central grant given to Brent, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, Blackburn, Burnley, Knowsley, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Rochdale, Salford, Middlesbrough, Birmingham, Coventry, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Bradford and Kingston upon Hull in the years 1980–81, 1986–87 and 1993–94 at constant 1994 prices;

(2) what was the total amount of central Government grant given to each local authority in England in the years 1980–81, 1986–87 and 1993–94 at constant 1994 prices.
