HC Deb 08 March 1994 vol 239 c197W
11. Mr. McGrady

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of the effects of low-flying helicopters on animal livestock in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hanley

Low-flying helicopters have been accepted as the cause of claims from farmers for dead or injured livestock, resulting on a number of occasions in the payment of compensation.
