Mr. Maclennan

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many cases were dealt with by way of(a) magistrates courts, (b) trials by jury and (c) judges sitting alone under the prevention of terrorism Acts, and in each category how many cases had (i) guilty pleas, (ii) convictions after pleas of not guilty and (iii) acquittals in each year since 1983.
